head trainer and physio have been given the boot, they will be with the chris anderson coached sharks next year, this could get ugly if a coupleplayers do the same.

Have the Storm many players off contract? If they have financial diffuculties how could they afford to offer Kimmorley such a big Salary? It may have been a blessing in disguise that he left considering his poor form. Do you think if he had stayed in Melbourne the crowds at colonial would be bigger therefore offsetting his larger salary?

unfortunatly we will never know how the club sits financially,i assume we would be running at a huge loss, thankgod news ltdis propping us up.

as for players of contract,we have lost roarty, bawden and junior langi look like heading elsewhere,a few players may have a get out clauses in regards to andersons departure, this is just speculation however.

if teams in the afl are runningat a loss, where they draw twice as many fans as usat colonial you would not have to be einstein to figure out the finances would look pretty ugly.

i don't believe kimmorleys departure would effect the crowds greatly, sometimes i don't know whether tobelieve the crowd figures were inflated at olympic park or they are downsized at colonial,to me there appears to be more people going to colonial.

the storm appear to be very quiet in the player market this year,i would like to see them go after some talent, our biggest hurdle is attracting players to melbourne which is a vastly different lifestyle to sydney and qld.

Pepe, the Storm are getting a little older now and need some new blood in the forwards. You have the halves covered which is usually the hardest part to do. If the Storm make the semis they would have made the semis in each of their four short years. A feat they should use to their advantage. Melbourne seem to be suffering the same problem as Canberra and that's a lack of quality outside backs. You have Geyer, Ross, Moule and Bai but I think the rest really are'nt that good and if there are a couple of injuries then it will leave a big hole in the backline. Still, I don't think the Melbourne factor will be that much of an issue as it's only an hour away from Sydney by plane. If the price is right the players will come.

you are spot on about our forwards, they don't seem to have the intensity anymore,we need young blood.

howe is not the player he was 2 seasons ago, kearney pulls the good game out every second week, like most of our players,it's just a bloody shame we do don't play every fortnight instead of weekly!!!

we are missing tony martin in the centres since his departure, when i look at our full strength team it is very strong on paper,we just need to get back the intensity.

on the post above i should have mentioned admission at colonial is $17.50 for the cheap seats on the lower level,$32.50 for the upper deck, now that is way to steap for the working mans game.

cheers pepe
