i'm going with AMERRYKING here. had 1 try at T/D for a 4L 8th. but he was spelled after that so Hawkes maybe thought a spell would do him good. has come back with 3 wins in a row and looks a very good horse. should settle just off the pace with a slowish tempo, and accelerate past them in the straight

other chances ROCKFORD BAY (good return last start after 9 months out) and DR NIPANDTUCK (2 good runs this prep behind smart horses, and the 1400m should suit)
