Hayne's an idiot. Not much in it and Slater is a deadset turd, but stupid on a grand scale nevertheless.

With all the wrestling that goes on in tackles nowadays, where the head is used quite a bit, there really wasn't much in the actual impact.

It was just stupid from Hayne. It was clearly a striking, attacking action and should be judged as such. No point in getting carried away about it though.

Slater had a red hot go at trying to get revenge. If Hayne's a "grub", what's that make Slater?

Jokes asides I'm perfectly happy with both being free to play Origin. However if one of the two misses out due to suspension than so should the other.

God help us if players show a bit of passion and some hot blood every now and then. Mark Geyer and Wally Lewis shared plenty of those 'headbutts' when they clashed in Origin.

Hell Hayne was probably nodding his head in agreement with what Billy said about telling on Hayne to his mother and accidentally tapped Billy on the cheek. ;-)
