You know, it would make a whole lot more sense if Hayne put in a really good year at the Titans and then approached Parramatta for a return. If he really wants to come back to us, then show us he's still got something to offer. I hope you are right Hindy. If we lose either Edwards and or Norman, I think our squad will be weaker.
Both players are very good for the money they are on and even the great Hayne would be a massive gamble to take over as a genuine 5/8th.

His form has been atrocious by most standards, with the occasional bit of flare or brilliance.
I for one don't want us gambling on the spine at this point especially when you consider that our dummy half is also very tenuous.

I want Hayne back at the right price, but to sacrifice the players mentioned would be, I think a huge gamble and not worth taking. We need a big middle forward. Evans is a start, but I have major concerns about his ability to stay injury free. I really hope we have another crack at Viliame Kikau. I think he is worth a gamble of 4-500k. He seems to be coming into his own now. Something like when the Roosters pinched JWH from Manly some years ago.
