Well as long as no laws were broken and nobody got hurt then I don't see how this is any of our business.
I agree merkins are merkins, whores are whores and all rape cases should be investigated but seriously the amount of the in between cases is mind boggling. Without a doubt the majority would still lean to the unindictable merkins are merkins but the rest make you wonder if you were ever that stupidBut why talk about the 0.0002% of instances where men get a raw deal rather than the majority of cases where men are complete f**ken merkins?
It always seems to happen on this forum. It's like some of you genuinely think you are hard done by!
Cool mate. I think we are agreeing with each other to an extent and can agree to disagree on the rest.Look I'm gonna drop it after this because I feel there is a fundamental crossed wire here (I'm not talking anything about the privilege fad or inequality), but if this kind of stuff is happening even once then it's too much...obviously sexual assault is still a far greater issue than false claims, but my point is that it is becoming oversimplified and that it does not seem right that anyone (regardless of gender, female alleged rapists also exist) can be hung drawn and quartered because their partner in a drunken dalliance wakes up regretful.

This one isn't rape, but offers a decent perspective even if the source is a more conservative-leaning one than I personally would seek.

FWIW the bloke I knew who was 100% falsely accused lost his job, his place at uni, most of his mates and I think he's currently down the coast somewhere in a menial job spending all his money on booze because he gave up. Which is something that falls on him to a point too IMO, but still. Anyway, we'll agree to disagree to a point.
And the guy who has more power and privilege is expected to be more responsible? What if both parties are drunk?

You might think it is an injustice and I may not disagree with you. However, my point has been that compared to all of the other gender injustices in the world I don't see it is a big issue. My experience is also that many blokes make too big a deal about it.
Baz understood that point and I think a few others did. Poor old Hindy struggled though...
Why wouldn’t they? Christianity is about forgiveness, not being perfect. The first followers of Jesus were fisherman and other assorted scumbags. Our biggest fear. True or false the walking, talking headline has struck and he hasn't even had one training run as yet.
Great player or not, his association with our club will attract unwanted media attention which is something our club has had a gut full of. We dont need it.
Innocent until proven guilty. Lets hope he's cleared. No talk of fathering another child. A deeply religious person who was baptised in The Jordan surely would never entertain such actions.
It's most definitely there Hindy.Gender injustice In some countries yes. In Australia? Unsure Gaz

White males are at the top of tree and have been since day 1.

Not much of a shift IMO.There been quite a shift in the last 10 yrs. Or more even now.
i see Webtard \'s article says he should be presumed innocent until the civil case is done
Not much of a shift IMO.
Just a question - Have you ever spoken to women about this issue and gotten their take on things?

So I assume you haven't spoken to any women about how they feel about gender equality?Tell me the issues....
In divorces females seems to do ok financially and with child rights.
Sure men get paid more in jobs. That is getting more even.
You quoted a post of mine where I responded to you talking about 10 years ago...with a comment about '40 years ago'!40yrs ago Gaz women barely worked. We now have women reffs, had a female prime minister.
I reckons that big strides. Even in sport we televise female cricket and league.
There could be some truth in that. You just redeemed yourself. Also Gaz do think it has a lot to do with the fact men want beautiful women while women want powerfull men.
So maybe thats part of the reason women want to be beautiful and men want to be powerfull
