Unfortunately I feel plenty of NRL players and celebrities in general take advantage of women and never get found out.
And plenty of women put themself in dangerous situations to be around men in power.....

He will almost certainly receive a bottom line sentence in excess of six months imprisonment.

I would expect a sentence in the range of 3-4 years maximum imprisonment both offences to be served concurrently with a non parole period in the 18 months to 2 year period. Forget the whole potential 14 year thing, it just doesn’t happen in our criminal justice thing, no one ever gets anywhere maximum sentences not even for the worst of crimes and for those with the worst criminal histories. Our whole criminal justice system is a joke and I say that with nothing to do with Jarryd Hayne in mind.
