I tell you, Hayne would earn a lot more respect from Parra fans if he just nutted up and admitted he had no real intention of staying loyal to Parra. If he just said that he was always going to go to the highest bidder, and stopped trying to dance around and blame this and blame that then he might get some of the fans somewhat back on side.
I think maybe he underestimated BA, thinking that when he snapped his fingers BA would come running with a blank cheque. I think that's what he was disappointed about.I think he had every intention of coming back to Parra, he was just disappointed that we didn't make the offer that he wanted so he chose the big money at the Tits.
You could see he was disappointed in his presser but at the end of the day it was his final choice.

I think he did have every intention if staying loyal to Parra - it's just that he thought Parra would pay him whatever he wanted in the process... but when some sensible football decisions by BA and the club were finally made and we only offered what we could afford and not jeapordise the collective, well, that's probably when loyalty stopped being a factor.

Yeah sounds about right.
I was probably wrong to say that he never had any intention to stay loyal, I'm sure he did, but that loyalty had a price tag on it.
Which, when you think about it, isn't really loyalty at all, is it?
I think either way, you've now given him an answer. Was that rhetorical or are you expecting an answer?
What are the chances that old mate Nathan Peats got in his ear and told him to dog Parra to get his revenge lol
Yeah sounds about right.

Definitely, That was a must-do, and the most important thing we needed sorted out before we move forward.1.2 Million a year, not 800,000!
I understand he probably has 4 years to go end his career, then he needs a job haha (mucking about people) but why lie - maybe his Manager never relayed the conversation with Parra club to Hayne? I'm not sure.
Personally when French bulks up a little in the pre-season, eels fans won't care. Surely French will be the Fullback next year, but the best news this year about my team is signing Brad Arthur until 2019. He can build a good team with that - he's a good coach and the players respect him.
Yeah he had every intention of being loyal... Loyal to the highest bidder.Yeah sounds about right.
