On his twitter he said he is back doing weights but hammy hasn't re-attached to the bone fully yet so he is about 4 weeks off running.

Nothing too drastic at this stage IMO.

it's only 4 weeks at the moment and if reports are correct they are getting smashed at training, can't blame him for trying to dodge some of that. he's probably getting Benny to do all the housework as well

Not too concerned, he will just ease into the season which is not that bad of a thing.

Hamstrung Jarryd Hayne back after Christmas

PARRAMATTA star Jarryd Hayne has confirmed he won't be back to full training until the new year after tearing one of the tendons in his hamstring.
Hayne described his recovery from the injury, which occurred during training in October, as a "long process".
"I'm still able to run, it's just the explosiveness and the taking off real quick that (the club are) really worried about because the last thing they want to happen is for me to do it again," Hayne said yesterday while attending a Christmas party for children from NRL Club and One Community charities.
"We sort of knew that I wasn't going to be back to full training 'til after Christmas and I guess we were hoping for a quicker healing process but it wasn't meant to be."
Hayne was joined by the likes of Nathan Hindmarsh, Keith Galloway and Dave Taylor at yesterday's function, where more than 30 NRL stars had a festive lunch and played games of ten-pin bowling with children from Wollongong Hospital and groups such as Camp Quality and Lifestart.

The rest of the Eels have been in pre-season training for the last few weeks under new coach Stephen Kearney, who replaced Daniel Anderson after he was sacked from the club with a year to go on his contract.
They are looking to improve from their 12th place finish in 2010, but are likely to have to do so without centre Timana Tahu.
The unsigned Tahu has failed to return for pre-season training after being given leave to attend to personal matters.
While there has yet to be an announcement, it seems only a matter of time before the club closes the door on the dual international.
Hayne said "there's nothing we can do" in relation to Tahu's future with the club.
"It's all to do with the officials and the board ... we're just trying to do our best," he said.
"You'd hope (Tahu has a future in the NRL), he's a great player and he's been one of my idols for a long time.
"I know he's got it in him, he's still fresh and he can still play."
Tahu's former club Newcastle have already declared they do not have room for another centre, meaning there is no indication about where Tahu he will end up in 2011.
