Hayne charged with Grade 2 Striking - will miss 2 weeks

Payne charged with Grade 3 Careless High Tackle - only 1 week

Rubbish that Payne gets only 1 week

Hayne got as deserved i guess (thought he may have got Grade 1)

Oh...

hayne is lucky he should have got 3 or 4 really. I reckon he is that arrogant he might even try to fight the charge.

Something has to fix his attitude and it seems a coach can't do it......

Hopefully this shows him the repercussion of his act.......but I doubt it!

He's lucky only to get 2 weeks tbh.

Payne deserved more though.

What on earth was so 'careless' about Payne's tackle? He went in with a swinging arm with the intent to harm

It was malicious. It was worse than reckless.

Judiciary is backwards.

I'm not defending Hayne, but the amount of damage Payne intended was worse than what Hayne was intending. Both had 'intent' and both should cop at least 3 weeks, with Payne getting the heavier sentence.

There's nothing careless about it.
Thuggery.

Hopefully someone in Norwest brings him in to line & deflates his ego.

Maybe he can play one of the thieves at the Easter Service, and be made drag a large piece of wood around the entire Hillsong carpark?

I would have suggested that they make him Jesus, but, I dont know if his head would fit out the doors....

Personally I've never understood why the headbutt seems to get extra punishment compared to a swinging arm or something else. Both can totally floor you. It all depends on how they are delivered. The jokediciary strikes again.

Headbutting is like f**king your mates wife. They are unwritten rules of manhood. You just can't do it.

The problem is in the next 2 weeks, we will be lucky to score 2 tries.

ANd then his head will even blow up bigger as it proves that we need him.
