Hayne walking out on Titans.

A lot of readers didn't understand my question "what would you do?" as being purely rhetorical.

Obviously it would be smarter to spend the Pearce 800k on four decent players rather than on one dim wit named Hayne.

Record for most tries in World Cup history, bow to the GOAT
Helps when you play against park footballers in the weak side of the draw, while the real goat (Billy Slater) plays most of his World Cup games against the quality teams like England and NZ

Lol yeah. When he played wing and centre because there was a better player in his regular position. Where he didn’t play against England, didn’t score against NZ. All his tries came against the shit teams like the USA and Fiji

He was close to being the best player on the park in that World Cup final.

All this sympathy for the Titans is misguided, they're big boys and with the support of the NRL threw Hayne a bucket load of money and gave him an option of another bucket load of money at his discretion.

It was a poor deal and they overpaid. Parra reportedly offered him circa 800k, now despite all the he said she said bullshit, i don't see too many players passing on an extra 400k odd each year.

It hasn't worked out for the Titans, boo f**king hoo, if they hadn't put together such a poor f**king deal they wouldn't be in the situation they are now in.

Have to agree with this.
There was heaps of hype and a good feeling around the Titans when he was signed.
The Tigers game last year looked like the turning point and he might be a decent signing.
It all went downhill from there.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but giving Hayne the option was a major f**k up.
The sooner he is gone from the club, the better.
