I laughed when they said he could be in hot water when watching it live.

It was the very definition of careless and lazy.

Zero malice. Practically zero punishment.

Update.

Sharks prop Tom Hazleton has copped a $3000 fine for a careless high tackle on Mat Croker, and he faces a two-game suspension if he opts not to pay up.

It’s the third a subsequent offence for the Cronulla firebrand.

The third offence is a worry. His loading will be significant on the next one. There will be a next one too.

I’m ok with that being a Third one. Who in our pack is the one no one runs near?

Never seen much in Wilton that makes him a must have in firsts. Not much pressure from anyone else on his spot either unfortunately.

Thank God I thought I was the only one
I’m on the same page. Frustrating. Maybe John’s boys has been talking him up as an origin contender.
Laughing with his Wilton fan club/mates on the fence in the pouring rain Sunday night warriors loss scarred me for life

Scares me. I just don't know if he's at his ceiling, approaching it or miles off. I hope it's the last one and he comes good. This isn't based on the trial either. He wasn't great before he got hurt last year either

Agreed. He wasn't horrendous, but far from a stand out.
There's got to be something there though, given he captained NSW u20s.

I'm hoping for a break out year from him this year.
It's his fifth season at NRL level and towards the backend of the year he'll be nearing 100 games.
Time to stand up.

Maybe he has similar confidence problems to Dykes. Didn't he have a high grade medial tear?

Geez this side was busted up bad last year.

You know what, if the impact of last years battle wounds is halved there's where a lot of improvement can come from in the side. By impact I don't just mean games missed. I mean decreased performance whan playing injured, psychology of playing busted and/or returning from big surgeries, disruption of processes and combinations and all that sort of thing.

I was at the game, so I couldn't listen to the commentary. What was the difference between that tackle and the shoulder to the head one of our players copped earlier?

No shoulder at all in Hazelton's. Lazy swinging arm.

The Knights guy, Su'a, somehow didn't even cop a charge. The similar tackle in the Wests/Warriors game is going to see Maiu'u get 4-5 weeks.

One week in and the judicial system is at it's inconsistent, confusing best.

The shoulder to the head was your guy's poor tackle technique from him. Kaufusi couldn't do anything about a nuffie leading with his head.

I don't mind Wilton but this contract ends at the end of next season when he is 26. Wade won the comp at 26 and was a much more complete player. He needs to take a step up to that next level or he faces a journeyman career along the likes of a floor of Luke Gardner to a ceiling of Capewell.

I think the stability of his position, the trindall/moylan situation being settled are two things that will help him. I hope anyway.

Tieg just reminds me of an early Nikora, says nothing gets pumped over nothing and angry at no one.

The other concern with Wilton is that he has very little pressure on him this year.
Burns is just a backup player that's it.
Talakai they would have to move from centre.
He needs someone pushing him for his spot
