When watching sport mainly NRL where the time and score is displayed in the bottom left corner , while using the remote to fast forward or rewind live or recorded games the stupid on screen icons sit right over the time score display making it hard to work out what part of the game im trying to navigate to.
So the question is can this on screen icons be changed in the settings ? I cant find a way to change it.

Don't think it can.
To get to a spot quicker I hit play on the recorded program.
Viewed comes up and select the minute you want to get to.
I understand you want to get to a spot via quick forward but just rewind it once you go past it.
You'll be an expert with practise.
I watch all nrl games and a lot of them on live pause or delay.
Don't bother with watching conversions and fast forward when packing scrims and through the half time break.
Reduces the viewing time.

This annoys the crap out of me too. Interestingly - you would think Fox would realise this problem and move its score to the top right - or bottom left.

Especially when they are predominantly a sports specialist broadcaster . My score is on the bottom left , that's where the on screen remote shit is as well. Is it the same for u ?

yes - that is what we are talking about. It is the same for everyone.
