Was just on 2GB. Didn't say anything about an injury. Looking forward to playing easts. Still a concern about dropping off when we get 8 or 14 in front. Made it sound like O'Hara and Payten weren't too far away. Loving playing with Benji and Robbie (made no mention of how thrilling it was to play alongside Johnny Cronk in his early games) ... his first game at Leichhardt in grade and he loved it ... all the boys were talking about Leichhardt during the week.

On another - vish :
- there is middle east peace
- junior burger is quick
- i have a 17" shlong
3 great fallacies of the world.

Our Steve Turner is about as quick as our Steve Roach. The f**king spastic has been in open space in our last 3 games and has been run down easy (Bris, Newcastle x 2 and today). He's an utter turd and offers the side nothing. Lawrence to the wing and Halatau to centre offers the team far more.

We were ordinary today I though and gave up a ton of soft metres. Same old same old re the offloads. Would really like to see our missed/ineffective tackle count and how we almost threw that game away defied belief. 17,400 .. hahahah there were 21,000 there easily ! But then as Mr Barnes will tell you people that never came pay with cash that no one saw then people can be paid off the books. The crowd at Junior's last game was 14,000 allegedly and it was the most full Leichhardt's ever been

Mcdonnell nearly cost us the game today. Firstly he was in as much space as he will ever find on a First grade field and he was amazingly run down by Campbell and Prince who came from miles away. It was a terrible effort of stutter and stumble from Mcdonnell.

Then with 5 to go we force the dropout and he coffs it up on the first tackle. Luckily the Titans made an error next play as we were paddling and ready for the knockout blow.

I thought Head, Farah, Marshall and Hodgson were all below their best and must take some responsibility for our poor kicking game long and short. We gave up a alot of cheap yards up the middle, but we scrambled very well on our own line and had a much better attitude in defense.

That crossfield `bomb' was embarrassing from Johnny Cronk. What a f**king abortion of a kick. Speaking of abortions, Kevin Shane was about as one sided as he could get. Gav them plenty and let them lie all over us

Spot on Eddie re junior burger and also re the defence. But we all know Ronald will be in shines' ear about picking his sprog and shines will know there is a push for Ronald to be made CEO so shines will keep ronald sweet

Our defence was good for a change on our own goal line but we had plenty to do because we gave them 60, 70, 80m sets with soft defence when they were coming off their own line with the usual garbage of not wrapping up the ball. It seems in every set of 6 we have one `bad' tackle where we have them under control then on tackle 4 we do something soft/dumb and give em 25 or 30 and put ourselves under the pump

Well would you prefer our former player who was opposed to Shannon, who continually just watches the ball rather than trying to catch it ???
Atleast he showed the initiative and grab the ball rather than watching it and he ended up turning a sh*t kick into a near try !
Our old boy has ability, but when it comes to taking the high ball, he makes Shannon Mac look like Gary Jack and Greg Brentnall rolled into one !!!

Where is this pace vish ?
Scott Prince was running him down and i'd back my 2yo to run over preston campbell in cover
Kenny Dowell will score a hat trick next week off crossfield kicks against the less than mighty midget

Something is certainly amiss with his pace. Possibly his hamstring still troubling him, because he`s much faster than what he`s been showing. In regards to his general play, he certainly got the better of Ben Jeffery and overall he had quite a solid game except for the dropped ball which did look to be a certain strip.
In saying this, Beau Ryan has been in great form for the Magpies.

His one saving grace was meant to be his blinding pace
It was meant to be the facet that made up for his size, poor defence, lack of height, poor hands etc ... you junior burger defenders all shouted from the rooftops about his pace. It is now as obvious as obvious can be his pace is a myth ... much like his coach's coaching record

That Morris kick that saw McDonnell in open space only to be run down was an absolute 'MOTH special', two of his favourite men both with terrible plays that nearly ended up as the match winner, who said two wrongs cant make a right, mate that was hilarious!

I have the game on IQ so will watch it tomorrow sometime
Could have sworn it was benji but if it was morris then it eclipsed his crossfield kick that went backwards

He certainly hasn`t been setting the world on fire, but the bottom line is that there are many worse wingers currently running around in the NRL.

Not that I am a morris defender but i thought Benji kicked that shocker ?

It was Morris.

Apart from his 2 or 3 deplorable kicks late in the game his role today was much better. He made 80 odd meters and was used as a runner and backed up on a couple of occasions, made a few decent scoots and provided a "passing option". He is a handy number 14, however when he was handed the kicking and playmaking reigns late in the game it all went pear shaped again/

Ben Jeffery, Luke Covell, Tautai who started the year on the wing at Parra, David Milne at Canberra, Matt Utai is a great ball runner, but why would you continually play him on the wing when he`s clearly the worst high ball taker in the NRL (on par with Vatuvai). These are just off the top of my head, it could be far worse !!!

Good to see benji have more of a go in defence this week, our defence on line was good but when we tire we get cut up just around the ruck area a lot, any player who needs to be singled out for a bad game is Payne more dumb penalties, soft runs, drop balls, lucky he made a few decent tackles.
