I have reintroduced elements of the 'bedding the whore' thread into a post on rugby.com.au. I really got them riled up, they are totally ignoring the facts and i need a bit of back-up from some of the ppl that participated on that thread. They are so ignorant over there, they have no idea about the history of RL in France, SA and Italy...
come on ppls, help me out here! Every1 who is already on the site, would u mind telling me who you are??

Yeah, i agree, the discussion board is shocking. It takes forever to load, and as you say, the messages are all over the place....I don't like it 2 much, although it has been fun arguing with cretins such as that seven character...

Spent most of the afternoon there.
Had a few blokes talking almost rationally after they finished abusing me. I think I got a few to turn on seven as well by telling him he had a comprehension problem. Before I knew it there were whole threads devoted to his lack of comprehension skills.

MFC I've had a look over at the site and I really dont see the point, what are you trying to prove? The rugby guys are right you know, you just go over there and try and rattle a few people and it isnt working, do you really think there going to change there point of view on the sport they love just because a fewnevillesfrom rugby league tells them to argue rationally? I dont think you'll appreciate a few rugby union guys coming over here or WORL and telling you guys to argue rationally and discuss the history of both sports Do you really think they CARE? they want to talk aboutthe Lions tour or the Bledisloe cup , let them!!For petes sake let them follow there sport!!.

hey all, first time i have seen this site and i like it.

i went over to the union site and posted the message, why league is better than union. i basically tried to stir up shit amongst all the rah rah supporters. it is pretty immature but i felt like stirring them up and letting them know that not all people support their wallabies and that some people (like me) will never compromise with people like them.

thanks willow, i enjoy this message board just as much as the world of rugby league site. i suggest that we keep stirring the rah rah followers up, they really take it to heart, just as we would if they came over here i suppose. one person, named beep is an absolute tool, as most of them are. good work MFC for adding some maturity to the conversations, even if the insults keep flying at you.

Thanks Hutch, i read your shitstirring post and neally fell off my chair after reading some of their responses. One guy wanted to fight you...LOL. What a tough guy, threatening u behind a computer screen. Very humourous, i think a few of them are starting to realise the history of league and union in Europe (thank goodness for that Bedding the Whore thread!)
That Beep guy is an absolute tool, and some of the others are just so arrogant and ignorant that its not funny. Although others are more reasonable, which is good.....How about some of the statements they have came up with? One guy was saying how the union world cup was the number sporting event in the world (even above the soccer world cup!)....

I had a quick look at rugby.com and someone has posted a fair bit of this thread.

I had to laugh at one reply - someone said not to debate with us because 'that's what they want.' The general opinion seemed to be that mindless abuse was the best form of defence.

Marcus seems to have come from this site. I'm glad to see he has lifted himself above the level of of his peers. I am quite enjoying his input on this site - a bit like a chris674 with a brain.

A bit uncharitable Gav. Marcus is doing the rooting a porcupine trick in this room, one prick against thousands, but he is at least trying to argue some of the points. Chris just kept throwing shit and ignored all reasoned responses.
I don't think Marcus has won a trick yet, but he is giving it a shot.
