Channel 9 is NOT showing the NRL finals direct into melbourne this year.

Just hoping that we can find a member or a dozen in the forum that can bombard the Channel9 switch in melbourne on monday and ask them "why not?" and hopefully we can get it turned around

Channel 9 DO NOT hold the rights to the AFL.... and they are holding back the coverage in VIC till 11.30pm.... 4 hrs AFTER kickoff

channel 9 melbourne number is (03)9420 3111... If they ask where you are calling from, say carlton, Richmond or Frankston

You need to ask for the programing department

If the programing department fobbs you off, ask if the call is being recorded, and in not, ask it to be....

If it is, and you get no where, ask if the person you are speaking to has a boss...

We need the finals in VIC.........please! for Madunit, MelTiger and Bricey!

I called tonight and questioned them about their tv guide on ninemsn which states the NRL is to be shown at 7.30pm

I was told it may have been an error by ninemsn.

I was told NRL doesn't rate well in Victoria.

Silly question here. How many TV shows rate well at midnight or at 2am?

How many TV shows have comparable ratings at midnight to shows at prime time.

Some of those European movies on late at night on SBS rate pretty well!!!

Seriously though I spent a month in Vic/SA last year and without the net it was hard to watch any Rugby League.

I heard that the Limerick didn't show the NRL games this weekend. Not sure if its true or not though.

If you're here mate, get a hotel with foxtel and watch it there, may be the only option.
