Hopefully not needing a winner to get out of the day ahead but if I do, I think Lantwin (8) can go close here. Wasn't beaten all that far behind Bently Biscuit first up at Randwick before going to Canterbury for a 'kill'. Done it by 2l with 59kg's. Drops to 53.5 here and jumps from barrier 5. Bowman should be able to give him a quite run in behind the speed and should finish off nicely. He's also 3rd up in this and gets to a distance he loves.

Hardest to beat I make Malcolm (1). Very good run in the Epsom, is drawn well and Beadman stays on. Loves the distance too.

Imana (9) in for third. Barrier 16 is a bit of a worry over the 1400m but she's been racing well. Wouldn't surprise to see her come home strong here.

Valedictum (2) has been not to far away against classier opposition than this lot. From the inside gate, King will give him a good ride and he'll be thereabouts.

Can't leave out Amerryking (7). Was a nice win last start after doing it easy at Warwick Farm the previous start. Drops in weight aswell, should run well.

The leader looks to be Live in Vain (3) Will give them something to catch if he gets it easy in front.
