yes and no.

Fish played 25 games over 5 seasons and was wasting a first grade spot while costing us far too much in the cap.

Wells is essentially the same type of player who would be on a low tier contract not taking up a first grade spot or cap space if he doesn't take the next step.

So there's nothing to lose for the club on this one really.
