After the debacle of the Knights forum (this is a first in all my years on the net, that I have seen such a farce and as being in the IT industry, the lack of developing a workaround!), I have signed up here because of the sheer boredom of not being able to visit the Knights forum.

Actually not visiting the Knights website anymore to tell you the truth. What's the point? Their hit counter will drop and therefore advertising revenue in that area will fall away. Yet another tactical mistake by the monkey's in charge of the Knights.

Sorry I'm in a bad mood, and you don't want to cross me at the moment. And the thing which annoys me the most. I've lost all my post counts!

Anyway, I'm here now. Don't have much time to surf the net at the moment. Too busy buying houses, cars, shares and flying around the world to worry about surfing the net. But I will drop by now and then when I get the chance.

Nonetheless, good to hear you pipe up this forum Ben :D Have fun flying around the world (if you meant that literally!)

Next year I'm doing my world tour. At the moment, I'm confined to flying around Australia each week.

Your on the same wavelength as me on this one Ben. This was precisely my point when I emailed the Knights late last week - of course I haven't received a reply yet, which makes me think they're even more incompetant than I gave them credit for.

It is commercial suicide to remove the very reason potentially hundreds of people visit the Knights site daily for the pure reason of visiting the forum. I no longer visit the site, I only hope the Knights' advertisers realise this so the admin aren't screwing them around with out-dated traffic counts.

But then again I can also see the reason for closing it all down - all this has been discussed already so I won't flood this forum with more talk of reasons. What I will say though is that whether there are good reasons or not, the fact remains that the Knights website traffic would have dropped by about 95% by my estimation - this isn't a good move for the site, especially financially for the club.
