You beat me to the punch guys...I was just about to track down his/her original post and ask the same thing.

It might be time for Morpheus to morph into (yet) another entity. I guess we just need to wait for a new poster to arrive with similar syntax.

thats a bit cruel dannyboy

maybe there is a good explanation

morpheus was quite adament it would happen and will surely have a good reason that it didnt

though i must say for someone who spouts his insider knowledge - despite never actually breaking anything - it is pretty damning of his credibility

I stand in my defence your honour ! :)

please find following evidence :-

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Friday of last week, a boardmember directly said " there will be an end to all the rubbish very soon, don't worry, it's going to be fixed up"

read into that what you will, however the only possibly translation from what I see is that the board will sack anderson on his return. A reason given was that there was not enough time to properly negotiate an amicable settlement before Anderson left for the roo tour, hence the boards limp wristed "solution" of putting everything off until he returns.

I tend to think that the board would rather Anderson is sacked after the tour becuase it will mean the papers are not as interested in league and the circket season will be well underway.

Sorry, but Chris Anderson will not be the sharks coach next year, Raper is the man.

-----------------------------

was that wrong at all I ask sir !? ( this is fun, a bit like law and order ! )

I think people will be VERY surprised at what transpires in the last week of November this year / first week of December, regarding our coach for next season.

Danny Boy, you should not lower the aura of one of our worlds finest tunes by behaving so titchy when posting under such a name.

The decision for the coaching job next year has been made, but not by the people who everyone thinks need to make it. An action by a party involved over 12 weeks ago will decide the coaching position next year, one that not many people know about.

For mine I think it will be a good option and will allow our club to move forward solidly

Next item was posted in response to that by Frenzy :-

Both Greg Pierce and Simon Gillies would be possibilities.

Don't know why they'd bother having SR run the side though if they had a surprise in store.

I think the surprise will be more in line with how things happen rather than who will be there

Next I tender to you your honour ! :-

Not far off the mark.

However the issue of WHY this choice has been made, as I said, from an incident in the past, is what will keep our club...Nay......Our SPORT in the front pages for the best part of 10 days.

I don't think that Andersons new positive stance changes things all that much. It was never in his hands as to whether or not he stays next year, and that has not changed now.

It sounds as if he knows he is going and by saying how much he wants to stay, is trying to make the board look bad for sacking him.

He has done a fine job with the Test team, but I wonder how many years Anderson genuinely has left as a head coach ? regardless of whether that is at the sharks or elsewhere .

-------------------------------------

yet more evidence to tender your honour !

:-

Now, I offer the chance for the prosecutor to show the court what items from the above evidence I stated have proved WRONG after this weeks events ?

Reading back, yes, 10 days is along time for ANY news to be on the front page, but we can all be prone to exageration at times, I apologise if that has upset you, however read what I posted, READ it, and read my response to Frenzy's post, and you will see that the issue was never about WHO would coach the team, but who made the decision, and THAT my learned friend has not yet BEEN reported, and THAT is the reason that I believe headlines will be made.

That you have not put two and two together already knowing me and what other items I have posted on here since my arrival is not my fault, I prefer a little intrigue and to spell it out seems rather tedious, I much prefer Frenzy, he seems to have his eye on the ball. ! ( joking millersnose, just joking)

I have an idea then... why not speed up the process of getting it onto the headlines by just telling us here? ;-)

:)

The thing is, it probably would highly jeaopordise any court action the club needs to defend.

Hypothetically, they could not have made the "decision" before handing out a third breach notice could they ? that would reek of setting up their employee and conspiring to dismiss him.

I know, I know....Henry Kaye is going to be the major sponsor for next year and one of his preconditions was that the coach should change. He has also promised to hold a seminar for the Board on how to become multi millionaires through investing in property development. Oh, ladies and gentlemen, stand by for a change in plans..........it now appears that the Sharks will have ASIC as their major sponsor next year (not to be confused with the plural but less potent sponsor the Eels have found) and their only precondition is that the current Board agree to act as the before model in their own upcoming seminar on good corporate governance.

tk u.

Just checked out their website http://www.asic.gov.au

Kind of a weird sponsor don't u think? Is OO trying to tell us mere mortals something?

I think its a joke mate. He's having a dig at our Corporate Governance procedures, or lack of them...

Yes guys, as my other used to say, "sarcasm is the lowest form of humour", and I am, well, low. Henry Kaye seemed appropriate given our property development expertise (not) and he now has ASIC (the corporate regulators as opposed to the sport shoe guys) crawling in and out of some very personal orifices as his little aeroplane scheme comes crashing to earth. Side benefit of ASIC might be some Corporate Governance 1.01 classes for our beloved Board. Funny heh? Not, obviously. But thanks for pointing that out to everyone Gunna.  :( :( :( :(

I thought it was funny, but chances are that's only because it's my job to know what ASIC do...

So I take it that this involves money, and quite alot of it. Any chance of you sending me a private message Morpheus? I am certainly not on the same page here and would love to hear what this is all about.

frankly morph i dont think anyone was surprised

you go on to say "i think it will be a good option and allow the club to move forward"

as everyone bar the most religiously devout ando cultists knew raper was getting the nod why not come out and say it?

then after some speculation from some people frenzy suggests greg pierce and simon gillies to which you confidently remark "not far off the mark"

this despite the main prediction in the press and on these pages that raper will get the job

now at this stage you have not denied raper will be coach but by implication your answer to frenzy that it will not be raper

furthermore your time is nearly up for the league story of the year 10 days of front page news etc

forgive me for my scepticism but......

what happened?

I think perhaps that Morpheus was tipping a Steve Rogers-led coaching team, with Sludge as Director of Coaching (thanks Gould, that title will never go away now), Raper as 1st Grade Coach, ET as Skills Coach, Treister as a lower grades coach, etc etc.

Not far off, with the comments from Sludge and ET in todays press. And, to be fair, our club has been Sports headline material since Sunday, so he's half right. Not FRONT pages though...

Sorry morpheus, you can bore the panel to sleep with you evidence in the hope that we will leave it alone.
Your post was specific & your answers on every topic, non specific at best.

Reefy's evidence item no 1 obtained from http://www.astrology.com.au/daily/capricorn.asp

Trying to force your opinions on others could boomerang right back when someone, who usually doesn't give you the time of day, decides to poke their nose in. Then there's the manipulative relative you really need to direct some healthy boundaries at. Some work to do today it seems.
