I reckon they are a hoot....great riffs and big sound.

the darkness are definetly "spinal tap" on acid no doub't about that.

Bloody awesome band!!!......i was listening to them on triple j this morning where they had a special on the Darkness.

This is one band that can bring rock n' roll back, IMO the singer sounds across between Robert Smith from the Cure & Freddie Mercury when reaching the high notes!!

The guitarist sounds alot like Brian May from Queen also!!.

From what i've heard they put on a mean concert....there lyrics are good & catchy & with good guitar riffs & solo's to match.

They are great......im hoping they are the next big rock band....just like Gunners/Nirvana/.....Ratt. :lol: :lol:

If he started to dress like David Lee Roth or Axl Rose that would be pretty cool though.

Just heard that there doing an US concert pretty soon & that several cities in the US venues where sold out in the space of a couple of hours.

This is only going to inspire many young bands around the US if they break through in the US to incorperate their sound & persona.
