Hindmarsh Appreciation thread

I mean how good is he. Some people call him freak some people call him superman all I can say that he is not normal. We are so lucky to have this freak of nature its not funny.

Memo to Fitzy: If Hindmarsh asks for 400K then give him for 400K and then back pay him for carrying the team for ther last 3 years.

I would not swap Hindmarsh for anyone.

If Hindy asks for $400k, he is short-changing himself - he is worth $600k plus... 8)

Yeah, agreed, even as an opposition supporter it cannot be denied how good he is, he seems to carry that Eels side some weeks, when he asks for an upgrade he better get it because unlike others, he actually deserves one.

appreciating nathan hindmarsh could well be listed as a hobby of mine

he said in the paper he wants 400k, so give it to him. 4 years. what else do we need to negotiate?

He is worthy of what ever he wants at any cost

He is truly a freak and one of the greatest players ever to wear the blue and gold

Give him what ever he wants.

That's a tad harsh but...

If he wants $400K per annum, then give him AT LEAST $400K per annum.

If we lose Hindmarsh it will be to an ESL team where the salary cap is a myth. The pommies would love to snag a play of Hindies quality and stop at nothing to bring him over.
In short we must have him signed before that can happen.

If he wasn't given what he deserves, I too would rethink supporting our club, as a player he busts his arse for his team and the fans week in week out. If Fitzy and Smith were to let him go I would not support a club who slaps one of parra's modern greats in the face, especially after his commitment to the club. It would be devasting, heart breaking and stomach turning to see him play for another side. I would honestly loose the plot and dead set try and find smith and fitzy and slap them into next week. Hindy, you are a champion. 8)

Hindy ios one of Brian SMith's great failures. I mean, here he is, 7 years on, and he HASN'T been made a halfback or ended up playing for Wests! What's going on, Smithy?

Tell ya what, though, and as good as Hindy is, there's another VERY unsung hero emerging in our ranks, if the latest tally of FRF player of the year poiints gives any indication!

I think Hindy would like to achieve more in his rep career before that option becomes attractive to him at all. He's only just cemented his spot in Blues and Australian teams this year really. Sign him for another three years Parra, at 400K plus, which would take him up to end of 2008.
