i think you will find that Peter Badel is a Parra supporter himself, He used to run a website called Blue and gold army he closed it down due to time constraints. So I dont think he would do that to Hindmarsh.

I never pictured Hindy as the sort of bloke who would play footy just for the money involved.

I mean, don't get me wrong - if anyone deserves a pay rise, it's him.

It's just kind of disheartening that he is implying that the only thing keeping him at Parramatta is the money.

Hindmarsh definately deserves up to 400k. He is our best player by far and should be rewarded with a large paycheck. I'm sure a lot of what he said came from frustration after a poor season, though i'd like to think he wants to stay at Parramatta ahead of joining another club. We need to keep players we've raised through their careers. The Herald today stated we'd began talks with Nathan in extending his contract, which would include upgrading next year's deal. I say that's a good idea, we have room to move under the cap for next year it seems so a bit of a pay rise for Nathan is deserved.

Actually, I don't get the impresesion the only thing keeping him there is money. I do however, get the impression that because we'd gone and thrown all this cash on other players, he wants some and rightly so. I think if we were ever to get into a "Bulldog's" situation with the salary cap, I'm sure he'd be the firsts to put his hand up for a pay cut - as long as everyone else does as well.
