Hindy questions why Storm are playing in 2010

Yeah saw that on the Today show this morning.

Remember when Hindy used to talk to the media, and he would give out one or two sylable (spl) answers. After watchin him last week on The Footy Show and this morning I am quite impressed on how he speaks these days.

this whole season is a joke really and who ever wins the premiership this year won't get full credit and the Storm will still claim they won 2007 and 2009.
Anyone involved in any of this should be banned for life. Including any players or player manager.

looks like the players (of other teams) r starting to get fed up with this storm sh*t and the nrl bending backwards not to upset them. hindy would definatley be taking it a bit more personal for our club as we had to let go kinga last season and the players were prepared to take paycuts now the Storm are able to re-work contracts of inglis, cronk, smith and slater to allow them all to play there next year

Mate 40 of the scummy club wouldn't even speak to Deloitte because they told them they wouldn't keep it confidential. What does that tell you??? As far as i'm concerned the whole club is damaged goods and with a weak pissant like Gallop in charge the NRL will bend over backwards to keep them happy.

I heard that Deloittes wanted to speak to 40 people and over half of them refused. That says it all, and your point still stands. Bunch of arrogant Victorian f**kers.

Its the Storm officals that have been saying we will be able to keep the so called "big 4 merkins" and we can do this and that.

From what i have read Gallop has not even seen the report as yet.

Until he reads it and gets advice from the NRL's lawyers, its probably not in his or the NRLs best insterest to say anything.

I hope he nuts up when the time comes and tells those merkins to go get farked , you can not re do the contratcts and the players are not allowed to take pay cuts to get them back under the cap.

I also think Gallop is peed off with the directors taking the NRL to court. I'm sure he will be looking to get some pay back.

I just hope at the end of the day News Ltd pull out and that club dies.

Yeah exactly. I heard that the players were willing to speak to deloittes, but ONLY if what they said was kept confidential with them and the NRL and not made public, but because that wasn't to be the case they refused. If that doesn't say "we knew all about it" then what does.

On another note, after the Footy Show last week, how elequent does Hindy look with a decent haircut and a suit and tie. He's hardly recognisable.

if the storm do keep the 4, it's not that much differernt to what the mutts did when they got caught rorting the cap in 2002.
they renegotiated the contracts, kept most of the squad and were able to win the 04 title with the squad that was illegally assembled.

I agree.

A bloke who takes a recreational drug, that is doing no harm to anyone but himself gets punted for two years.

A Club (including Admin, Players & Player Managers) commits fraud, rorts the salary cap by so much its a freakin joke, and brings the whole game into disrepute still get to play (albeit for no points)

They still get paid, get to play rep football and are part of the game.
It stinks !

The whole time the two biggest sooks in the game (and coincidentally now two of the biggest cheats !) Slater & Smith whinge that they are being treated unfairly.

IMHO If the whole Club isn't punted than the NRL should push for all Admin staff, player managers and PLAYERS who were involved with more than one contract to be charged with fraud.
