Think about it, they were over the cap last year to the equivalent of 2 superstar players, and they were the only team that would have beaten us in that run.
They bleat and carry on, but if the NRL doesn't get tough and make them shed 1 to 2 of the big 4 then they are kidding themselves, and for those plonkers down there to suggest they knew nothing about it. Give me a break, they are deadset kidding
Mate 40 of the scummy club wouldn't even speak to Deloitte because they told them they wouldn't keep it confidential. What does that tell you??? As far as i'm concerned the whole club is damaged goods and with a weak pissant like Gallop in charge the NRL will bend over backwards to keep them happy.Absolutely.
What gets me sh*tty is that the player managers MUST have known about it as it would have been them that got the players to sign more than one contact.
Are any of them going to be held accountable???

i'm not overly dirty with gallop (yet) .... he's stood pretty firm so far and has copped it deluxe from whiny know-it-alls like gould
.. and sooner the better, regardless of all the "we must have a team in Melb" nonsense I hold the same hope.Agreed.
Its the Storm officals that have been saying we will be able to keep the so called "big 4 merkins" and we can do this and that.
From what i have read Gallop has not even seen the report as yet.
Until he reads it and gets advice from the NRL's lawyers, its probably not in his or the NRLs best insterest to say anything.
I hope he nuts up when the time comes and tells those merkins to go get farked , you can not re do the contratcts and the players are not allowed to take pay cuts to get them back under the cap.
I also think Gallop is peed off with the directors taking the NRL to court. I'm sure he will be looking to get some pay back.
I just hope at the end of the day News Ltd pull out and that club dies.
I heard that Deloittes wanted to speak to 40 people and over half of them refused. That says it all, and your point still stands. Bunch of arrogant Victorian f**kers.

Dirty f*ckers robbed us of a premiership and THEY are acting like they were wronged.
...but who says it has to be the storm? ;-).. and sooner the better, regardless of all the "we must have a team in Melb" nonsense I hold the same hope.
this whole season is a joke really and who ever wins the premiership this year won't get full credit and the Storm will still claim they won 2007 and 2009.
Anyone involved in any of this should be banned for life. Including any players or player manager.
