Spoke to Hindy today. Club is currently negiotiating a new deal. He told me, and i quote "i dont want to go anywhere"

Couldnt be happier. :D :D :D

Couple of other interesting things. He is Very excited about next year, and said that it was a shame that Thorman was going home. If only he had produced this form a month ago, he probably wouldve stayed. He thinks Michael Witt will be good for us in the long term, and that with the addition of PJ Marsh, we will have a good half combination next year.

Yep.
No way he will be going anywhere.
That story in the paper the other week was simply, in my view, his manager doing his job well.

Good news J. Let's hope his teammates can live up to Hindy's hopes and efforts for next year.

well doen newman

very intersting about his Thorman point of view and more the pity that Thorman wasn't given more of a decent go throught the year, instead of persisting with Wags at 5/8???

and good to hear someone backing Witty, i have heard Hindy backing Witty publicly before, which is great

and very interesting to hear Hindy say that he is excited to think we might have good halves next year - menaing that he has been unhappy with how our halves have been and that he realises that good halves equal success......

hope someone else has had that thought too?????

True Eel.

Whilst i can say he did say those things about Thorman and Witt, and his happiness with the additon of PJ, i did not think that he conveyed to me the impression that he was unhappy with our current halves. That is reading something into the situation, that i do not think he neccesarily thought or meant. I truly believe he was just referring to last weekends match.

fair enough newman,

but i didn't mean he was unhappy with our current halves (Thorman and Witt) i mean't he may have been unhappy with Wags at 5/8 and the whole revolving door halfback issue all year and over the last few years???? thats all

Our halves have been performing well lately. It shows in our score lines 8)

Imagine Tahu and Grothe getting the same service as Burt and Petersen were getting against the Warriors! They are going to score plenty of tries. Lets hope tahu can set up a try as well as he can score one.
