David 'grim reaper' Faddoul was born with Parramatta Eels blood running through his veins.

As a one-year-old child, Mr Faddoul attended the 1983 Grand Final victory against Manly with his father.

"My father has supported the Eels his whole life, so as soon as I was born, I was an Eels fan. Growing up in the eighties, I was always watching footage of the Eels greats-Kenny, Price, Sterling, I loved them all," Mr Faddoul said.

He can be seen at Eels games dressed as the grim reaper. Each match, he has the name of the opposition team on his dagger, with the idea of-metaphorically speaking- bringing death to the opposition

"I started wearing the costume around six weeks ago when the 'Parra Jesus' fan retired. I took it upon myself to become the new team mascot."

Mr Faddoul loves the amusement kids get from his costume.

"The kids absolutely love the costume. I have an Eels tattoo as well and kids always come up to me and look at the outfit and ask if the tattoo is real," he said.

An Eels season ticket holder, he has attended every home game and numerous away games, including a long trip to Canberra. Even as a die-hard fan however, he admits being shocked at this season's success.

"No Eels fan honestly thought our season would turn out the way it has. We have turned our season around in a big way. No matter what the result is on Sunday, the Eels are winners," he said emphatically.

Mr Faddoul believes Jarryd Hayne is an exceptional talent and of all the Eels players, Nathan Hindmarsh and Ray Price are his favourites, describing them as 'loyal warriors'.

He nominates Greg Inglis and Billy Slater as the key Melbourne Storm players.

"The Eels must shut down Inglis and Slater. If they let them run, the pair will cause a lot of damage and could potentially put a fair few points on the board."

Even some flags are considered dangerous!
