People seem to have been mesmerised by this one off NSW win in Queensland. They seem to ignore the fact that Johnathan Thurston played the worst game of his career last night. JT will not perform that badly next game. He will turn on a blinder to make up for last night.

But Hodkinson's "Let me kick to a Queenslander" game is inherent in the merkin. He will do it again next game and Queensland will win handsomely in Sydney.

Perhaps then readers of my analysis will accept my revelation that Pearce is the solution. Unfortunately, if Hodkinson is dropped, super winger Daniel Tupou may have to be replaced by Paddy Richards in order for NSW to have a goal kicker. That will be the price of winning game 3.

Hokko played his first game of origin in queensland. doesn't get any tougher than that. granted he didn't have the best game last night, he still played solidly enough to help contribute to NSW winning.

remember Pearce has had 12 chances yet still keeps dishing up the same garbage, (3 win from 12 games.....) your gonna drop Hokko after his first origin game which any player will tell you is always the hardest origin game. if he played ordinary in his first game, cant wait to see what he will do in another Origin game.

No player will be dropped after that performance last night. Bird will come in for someone and injury and suspension may force some changes but no one will be flat out dropped, especially not the halves.
