Has anyone else heard about Holden joining the Australian Rally Championship next year in a limited program?

So, any ideas who's going to drive? This could be quite a machine, and the V8's are great to watch!By Jeff Whitten
Holden looks set to become involved in rallying again with a limited program that could see one of the current V8 Supercar drivers behind the wheel of a V8 Commodore ute.
rallysportnews.com.au understands that a program has already been put in place to contest a minimum of three rounds of the 2004 ARC and the popular "Race to the Sky" in New Zealand's south island.
The driver is believed to be one of the V8 Supercar front runners and who expressed an interest in competing in the national rally series after watching Rally Australia this year. Although his racing program will only allow him to contest three ARC rounds, there remains the distinct possibility that two other Supercar drivers could be drafted into the team to contest the remainder of the six-round series.
Construction of the Commodore ute is already under way in Victoria, with work on the rollcage expected to start before Christmas. Although Holden's entry into the Aussie Car class is a relatively low-budget affair, it will add some much-needed publicity to a series that has been struggling for recognition for the last few years.
