Conversely to the cats that have cost you money!

Adam won me a packet a few times. Such a consistent stayer

Te Aku Nick was an old battleaxe but everytime i got on it it went alright

Of recent times, Belle De Jour won me a few dollars a few times and Clangalang was good for me!

I never done too good out of my namesake Choisir during his career (same old story, got on at the wrong time. And got off when he won). But I was truly inspired by his International performances.
Ill nominate three Queenslanders not many would remember in Valiant Road,Vain To Vegas and Animate. These horses were responsible for my biggest collect ,Valiant Road won and payed $80 my $6 boxed trifecta netted a tidy $10000.That was back January 2000,and sadly Ive never gone close to achieving that sort of result since.

Mnemosyne was good to me this year ... short odds, but i collected well from him/her.

The reason being that as a two-year old, in last years Slipper and other 2 year old races, he seemed to always come from way back in last position to flyyyyy home. He got 4th in the Slipper last year, but he was so far back it was a great effort to finish 4th.

This year, Hawkes had him up further around the last turn and he won heaps of races instead of losing them. But the other punters seemed to know that so he was always short priced. But still ... did me well :)

Beadman rates this horse the closest thing to Octagonal he's seen in many years ... so keep an eye on him ... Mnemosyne.

Cant wait to see what he does as a 4 year old next year.

Makebe Diva and Might and Power both won me in the thousands. Northerly did well for me too.

Royal Pay and Sioux Chief were both very good to me.
Backed Royal Pay at 140/1 one day (it won) and took it with Sioux Chief in a Quinella.
Paid around $700 for a dollar.
It was the second time I'd backed both horses and the second time they both gave me a good return.
Grosvenor was another won who I got lucky with.
Got on when he won and managed to back the winner of the race he was in a lot of times that he didn't.
Got some good results out of Tuna Too and Jogger too.
Their win ratio wasn't great but mine was a lot better than theirs when I backed them.Always good odds.
Did well out of Northerly as well.

geez, makybe gave me many good returns. in fact, i don't think i ever backed her and lost

i loved a horse by the name Tasman Princess that ran last year at geelong or somewhere stupid. i'd won a few hundred earlier in the day and i thought the $1.40 fav looked suspect. put $25 e/w on this Tasman Princess and after the judge looked at the photo for about 3 hours, gave her the priza. it was a $750 collect for me and i haven't seen the horse since

and a couple of years ago, In Top Swing won we a fair bit incl. $20's in the caulfield guineas

Tasman Princess won at 20/1 at Ararat on 28/10/05.
1310 open.
Dont know if you wanted to know that or not.

Did I mention it paid $37.30 on the tote?
First run since April.
It hasn't been nominated so far for Ararat this week.
Might be their cup week?(not sure).
Couldn't find it in any noms for the Victorian Meetings either but it did spend a lot of time running around Kembla at one stage.

OVP - Mnemosyne is a she. Just so you know she'll be a mare next year :D

I don't make a habbit of punting on a horse because I have done well on it before. Form first for me. Been a few who have scored plenty for me though... MD the most recent.

Makybe won me plenty, starting at the Werribee Cup. The other horse that I had a habit of not backing when it lost, but I don't think it ever won without me on it was Black Bean
