I read on the NRL site today that Greg Bird was our best against the Panthers..........How did he go ?

Wasnt our best but played better than usual, I dont know who told him to get involved in the kicking game...definitely not something he should be taking part in

Birdy at least tried hard. Lots of higher rated players stood around watching him and Sully try to beat the Panthers by themselves. Galloway I'm talking to you.

Not at all.
If Bird was stated as our best, then I hope all of the Sharks players read it.
Bird improved on Bird, but he is far from the ideal player however.
for all the free time he has had, & I don't mean on the sidelines I mean free time in firsts with no threat of losing his position, he needs to perform now.
& that means improving 200% on his sunday effort.

He seems to be popular with most of the players who did seem happy for him to get a try.

overall he had a good game given the time he had off and his age

i hope the experience he will gain this year will bring improvement

i think he will be a good player in a year or so

yes bird did have a very good game for bird, however remember last year when he was droped for a couple of matches and when he came back he was great...

i think there could be a cycle
