How did Mellars go?

Did any of you saps brave enough to go out into this cold, catch the Premier League?

How were the new signings? I'm keen to hear about Mellars in particular.

Mellars went quite well Booyah.

He's a big boy and just what we need in First Grade in the Centres at the moment. Someone who can defend against the bigger opposition second rowers like Ryan and Mason. Who we had trouble stopping most of the day out wide. I think McGoldrick is still spinning and I thought Vagana read the play very poorly today in defence.

O'Born & O'Farrell are 'O Average!!!! I hope we kept their dockets and I hope Ourimbah and Souths except returns........

Hutch Maiava was playing in the Bulldogs Premier League side and although a huge bopper he did look cumbersome at times. I hope we can get him to shed some more kilos to help him with his mobility. Made some good runs but nothing out of the ordanairy.

Personally I liked Jason Williams better. When does his contract at Silverwater jail end???

Based on what you saw today, do you reckon he'd be up to First grade standard yet?

Looked quite confident and capable.

Would you say the centres we had out there today were up to First Grade standard in defence??

Personally I'd be putting Phil Bailey and Vince Mellars in the centres.
We badly need some size next to our wingers who are great in attack but need help with a bigger guy inside for defence.
