How do people rate Christiano Ronaldo?

Having seen him play, he will be a player of the future and his skill level is very good for a 18 year old.

Manchester United should keep hold of him as I predict top Serie A or La Liga clubs will come after him very soon.

Absolute class.

Shame he went to the EPL though. Should have stayed in Portugal for another season or two and then moved to Italy or Spain.

8) He is quick and very skilful but took a lot of stick against Charlton by the media.Several of the sides he has played against say he would make a good diving instuctor as he goes down at the slightest contact.Apart from that he is the sort of player that makes soccer good to watch,Kewell also. ;-)

Hybrid Tiger got it right - absolute class.

As a Man Utd supporter, I am positively licking my lips at him (and no, not for his good looks). At just 18, he looks like he has almost limitless potential. He's like a young Giggs that can play anywhere along the front line, cross better from either foot, and has a better first touch and bigger bag of tricks.

There was a great article that I read about his performance against Charlton that I'll try to find and I'll post it here for you guys to read.

There's only one Ronaldo!

Ronaldo's magic circle

Paul Hince

IT took me a while to cotton on but I've worked out who Sir Taggart has engaged as Cristiano Ronaldo's personal trainer...it's Paul Daniels, isn't it?

Blimey, the Portuguese kid should get free membership to the Magic Circle. He's got more tricks than a barrow-load of circus monkeys.

I was roaring with laughter watching that baffled-looking Charlton defender Radostin Kishishev trying to nail down Ronaldo at the Valley on Saturday.

He's behind you, Rado. Oh no he isn't. Oh yes he is. Now you see me, now you don't. Where's the ball gone? It's up his jumper, Rado.

Like all members of the Defenders' Union, Kishishev took the only reasonable course of action and attempted to cut Ronaldo in two and only succeeded in tying his legs into a knot. It could have been the first recorded case of a footballer requiring urgent hospital treatment after a match for severely twisted blood.

I've had this premonition about Manchester United being drawn away to Hartlepool in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Hartlepool right back, who was digging ditches six months ago, has eyes which are too close together, sticky-out ears, cropped hair and thighs like tree trunks.

Ronaldo is running at him with the ball at his feet doing so many step-overs it looks like his legs are about to drop off. Suddenly he disappears.

Another wonder trick from United's young Master Magician? Nope.

He's in row 18 of the stand wondering how he's going to get his head out of the seat he's just gone through.

lol, I thought about pointing that out, but decided to leave you alone. It's an easy enough mistake to make.

The kids got everything, skill, pace, tricks, can cross off both feet and has a good work ethic. I feel that in time he will be recognised in Portugese football history alongside Figo and Eusabio.
