There is next to nothing in the british media regarding the upcoming Roo tour. I think there are a few factors that attribute to this:
1. Football (Soccer) represents 90% of the sports pages in the papers. And this doesnt look to be changing anytime soon.
2. The Rugby world cup
3. GB havent won the thing in 30 odd years, and I guess the media have lost interest (cant really blame them)

Yes, I do believe that If the poms got up it would help league in the UK, however it would only be a mear few days before Soccer and Rugby flooded the papers again.

your right it would be a start. But exactly that, only a start.

I feel it would take a few series wins (or at least series with close matches) for the international league scene to take off. And thanks to Ando being in charge we may just get it.

The english super league is also responsible for the state of international league, I went to a few London Bronco's games this year and the talent on show and speed of the game were nothing compared to the NRL.

ive never been to england or had much of a chance to watch many super league game but it seems to me that SL needs to stop buying old australian players. they cant expect to develop a strong national side when they wont even let their juniors come though.
crowds are up for SL this year though, thats one positive

I hope a GB win will help increase interest.
Us Aussies never lost interest, even when we didn'rt win a series for 30 years!!!
