How good is the NRL Computer game?

It's so accurate. The Dragins have their useless one-dimensional attack, and you can put 124 points on them in a 40 minute game.

Brilliant!!

I've got it on PS2. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that I played the Dragins for Round 11, and Barrett, Gasnier and Thmpson were all still on deck. They might have to fix that glitch for the second version...

Pick up your act then Rustay.

The other glitch I found is that the Rorters have a crowd.

They got CLarke right though, the little pr!ck sent off four of my players at Parramatta

I know. In a TEN MINUTE game, I walked all over them 48-0. They were also their typical useless selves, topping the league for the most sin bins and send-offs, Jason Ryles being their worst.

They also got the spoon and did worse than the Bunnies! They won only one game and drew one.

This is a summary of the pitful Dragons record in the NRL season I played:

Played 24, Won 1, Drew 1, Lost 22
For: 246, Against 618
Points Diff: -372
31 tries, 13/51 goals (8/31 penalties)
Completion Rate: 143/343
Penalties: 32-77
125 handling errors
21 Sin Bins, 9 Send-Offs

I bought the game for my nephew for xmas. He is never off it!

Anyone know any little tricks that they have found with it.

The halfback from the scrum can easily go through and score I have found.

Indeed. I dont know what it is about them, but i just cant do well against them.

Probably complacency. That's the only way the Dragins are any real threat, just like in real life :D

I used to love video games but now they just dont do it for me any more.

My all time favourites:
Sonic the hedgehog 1+2 on master system and mega drive
Street fighter series
Metal gear solid 1 on playstation - this was the pinnacle of videogames, I still havent found a game that can compare to this one, actually MGS ruined videogames for me because none can live up to its standard

Yaa ....im not big on them any more...........I was a street fighter junkie back in the day, and almost required rehab to break the addiction. Got into tony hawk 1 a few years ago when it 1st came out, but up until a week ago i hadnt played anything in years.

I bought a PS2 last week just to try out the nrl game. I reckon its pretty sh1t and boring, but thats just me. I wish i spent the 5hunj elsewhere. Splintercell and Tony hawk 4 have proven to be handy acquisitions though...........Splintercell is supposed to be the modern day MGS, havent played MGS though, so i dunno.....

It's not too bad, but I've noted a few illogical moments with it.

Like the time I was given a penalty, right on full time, and down by only 6 points. Kimmorley kicked for touch, and then I didn't get a quick tap? Also when I played as Penrith, Rhy Wesser always goes into dummy half, when I want him out in the backline. :(

Also I have to change the Sharks line up, to next years squad. I can't play with our line up for the Melbourne game last year. Loloa Milford no way.

I know. The fullback always seems to be doing the hooker's job at dummy half.
