How long will it take to become a top 4 side again.

This roster has been destroyed by McGregor and cannot be saved. If we get a proper coach how long will it take to rebuild the roster to make the top 4.

I am feeling a little more confident about the long term prospects of our outside backs. Definintely not good enough for top 4 currently but maybe in a couple of years. Our spine can be good at times but a lot of confidence based players in there (i.e. Hunt/Dufty) so some concerns about their consistency in order to be a top 4 side. I think our forward pack needs some additional quality; a good prop and second rower at minimum.

Thats pretty interesting.....then considering the next 10 games, I cant see it happening:

Rd 12 v Rabbits - they'll have LM back, so I'd say loss
Rd 13 v Roosters - loss
Rd 14 v Eels - loss
Rd 15 v Broncos - anyones guess
Rd 16 v Titans - winnable
Rd 17 v Cowboys - winnable
Rd 18 v Raiders - loss
Rd 19 v Knights - loss
Rd 20 v Storm - loss

Maybe only 3 or 4 more wins imo, which won't get us there.

Wouldn't shock me but we aren't Robinson Crusoe there are plenty of other rubbish sides like the Sharks and Bulldogs that won't be seeing a top 4 for some time either so we can take solace in that.

I reckon you’re pretty close to the mark Slayer.
I will say that the Titans are looking better so that will be tougher & as for the broncos knowing our luck they’ll be firing by then. Either way I can’t see us making the 8.
