Ive never known so many sequels in the last few years, and are any of them good?

Here's a list of them:
Miss Congeniality 2, Oceans Twelve, Son of the Mask, Bridget Jones' Diary 2, Dumb and Dumberer, Meet the Fockers, MIB 2, American Wedding.

The list could go on if someone comes up with anymore.

Some of them probably deserved to be made again, some of them probably didnt.

C'mon come up with new movies.

And they're all shit (bar American Wedding just). Add The Ring 2 to the shit list.

Seems like Hollywood has settled for mediocrity and lazy remakes. Have ALL the writers got writer's block or something????

It looks very bleak after Star Wars III. And the Hobbit is years away, if it ever gets off the ground.

the chronicles of riddick (pitch black 2)
2 fast 2 furious
resident evil:apocalypse
tomb raider: the cradle of life
blade:trinity
exorcist the beginning

in production: the grudge 2, hellboy 2 , spiderman 3, x-men 3, etc etc

I wouldn't mind sequels if there was something new in them but most of them just continue the same story as the original and are just made to cash in.

Comic book movies are best for sequels. Usually because of the huge fan base & you can continuously creat news stories with wide-range of baddies

I enjoyed X-Men 2 & Spiderman 2 more than the originals
