The Storm currently hold down eighth spot with a 9:11 record and 18 points. What will be the final points tally of the team that finishes eighth? I reckon 23 might do it. µ

I also think 23 will get you in. The original cutoff was originally said to be 26 points but I think it will come back to 23. If Canberra had won yesterday they would have had an outside shot as they play Penrith, Cowboys, Eagles, Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle. I would easily concede we will not beat eitherNewcastle or Brisbane but had a legitimate shot at all the others and our for and against is not as bad as most of the sides just above us. My level of disgust deepens by the hour with Canberra and their inept performances and management decisions.
