How much wage does the average SL player get?

As we often here the wages of Premier League Football players, I was wondering today, what is the average wage a Super League player get's paid?

Any one have any clues?!

with salery caps i would guess that they are fraction of the premier league soccer players ;-) theyve got a limit of £1.8 million which seems like nothing, i dont get it, like is it per player or for all of the team because if its for all the team the average salery must be around £100,000 :?

I've no idea.
None of the clubs seem to give us any idea.
I here the top players for each club, get an average of around 250:000 year, but that must be (RHINO) :lol:

apparently in 2001 the average superleague wage was £47,000
1st division soccer £175,000
scotish premierleague £100,000
rugby union premiership £51,000
county cricket £41,000

rugby league teams have the lowest income £31m aswell which is suprising , i thought cricket would have been lower but its £66m :shock:

So the avg ESL player recieves an avg of 30k more then in the nrl.

There's also the 20:20:30 rule, which means something tricky about the number of players you can use in a season who earn above a certain amount on contract?
Basically it results in some of the players that teams use (especially if effected by injuries) during the year being academy players and lowly paid loan players, bringing that average wage down.
