The problem it is not what we think they are worth its what other clubs are willing to pay and these days with a shortage of talent some clubs are willing to pay big dollars to buy average players, hence turns just average players like Payne from 110k a season into 200k.

Hanbury and Lewis wouldnt be on much more.

2008 he was breaking the line, and looked dangerous in attack. He hasn't done the same this year.

No, he wasn't. He never ever did anything like that even up to an average standard.

Chris Heighington never ran with any real force, however last year he was fairly good, in what must be said a poorly performing pack.

Heighington is a good workhorse, but not a strike second rower by any means.

In 2009 he has 2 line breaks for the year, he also averages 17 runs for 111m. This is poor compared to the rest of our pack with the likes of Galloway and Ellis really raising the bar this season.

In 2008 he made 8 line breaks, and averages 18 runs for 131m. He also clocked 100m in every game except 2, so we had some real consistency with his go-forward, in a pack full of bludgers.
