Was alive for all our premierships but only old enough to remember that one. Been a long, hard road ever since. Plenty of highs…many, many more lows. So many times it looked like ‘our year’ only for me to end up a shattered mess at the end of the season.

I still have hope every year, but I never expect them to win anymore.
Ever.

I was 17 in "81 and 22 in '86. They were absolutely amazing times as an Eels fan.

Unfortunately, I've attended all 3 losing GF's since.

PS. It could be worse. A former now deceased father-in-law was a Bears supporter his whole life. He never saw a Premiership win. They last won in 1922.
