How To Fix It

Firstly we need to have enough forwards out there:-

8. Woods -- I think he will be a great player
9. A hooker -- We need some spark here. Robbie needs to improve.
10. Bell -- not really good enough but I fail to see a better option.
11. Ellis -- our best player.
12. BMM -- he is looking good.
13. Blair -- at the moment he is a waste of money. Probably doesn't deserve a run on spot at the moment but at his price tag you have to pray he comes good.

14. Heighno -- inconsistent throughout the game.
15. Groat -- decent in patches but simply cannot be out there for too long.
16. Moors -- deserves a go.
17. Fulton -- he tries hard and has some ability. If Blair wasn't being paid a fortune I'd put Fulton at starting lock.

If Galloway comes back he takes the spot of Bell and Bell can fight it out for a bench spot. I also think when Farah gets back we may still need a hooker on the bench to add some spark.

After that we need some speed in the backs:-

1. Lawrence -- we need a lot more involvement from him. It is risky but he is big strong and quick.
2. Ryan -- one of our best players consistently.
3. Ayshford -- lucky to keep his spot. He only keeps it based on his performances last year.
4. Moltzen -- to me he needs to be somewhere in our backline - he has pace and can bust open the defence. I'd keep him in the halves but we simply don't have enough players who can make a break and he can. We need him running the footy a lot.
5. Reddy/Tuqiri when he comes back -- we need a lot more from this wing.
6. Benji -- he has to get more involved but really he will win us games if the rest of the team doesn't stuff up.
7. Miller/Humble -- I'm not sure if Miller is ready or if Humble is ready. Truthfully this isn't good enough. I'd keep Moltzen there if there was a better option at centre.

Our backs simply aren't looking up to the pace at the moment and we need some speed out wide.

Bell not good enough? You have rocks in your head. He bent the line and tackled his ring out while he was on the field. He should be utilised like Gibbs and start the bloody game. He has size behind him.

Here's a starting point, won't solve all our problems, but it's a start

15. A forward
16. A forward
17. A forward

by Forward I don't mean a centre being turned into a backrower or a hooker, but someone with some size. See: Junior Moors.

This is a huge part of the whole problem with the squad. Add to that that Groat simply doesn't have much more than 15 minutes in him per half at best.

Your right in that he is a prop and he doesn't stuff up like the others.

Super coach traded two front rowers for another front rower that he is playing in the backrow. Seems like his fanboy attitude twards blair out wide has caused all of these issues.

Didnt 90% of Canberras linebreaks occur down the edges? It seemed like whenever the ball was thrown over Ayshford, Ryan and Millers side theyd make 50m at least. What the hell happened there?

Ayshford appeared too slow. We need some pace out wide.

I think you need to ask questions someone may actually have the answer for, how do they get tuna to pack into the can so tight?

Maybe a coach with a f**king clue could be a start.. Our side has always been criticized for not aiming up in the face of pressure, same can be said about the coach, when the pressure is on he fails every time to have faith in replacement players and panics into mass changes .. Every f**king time he has done it the result has always been failure. Next week we may also be without Lawrence, i cant wait to see what he comes up with then.

I don't like blaming the coach but that loss had a lot to do with him.
Simple question .... Why did we lose last week ??? answer= OUR FORWARD PACK so what does he do, start a game without a hooker which was only going to weaken them further , AND then just re arrange the backs for the sake of it . anyway im not even pissed off about it , the more dumb things this dickhead does only makes me laugh and im already prepared for the lose before kick off so its no shock .

How about a coach who doesn't go into a game against a monster forward pack with TWO fullbacks on the bench? That would be a nice start.

Every year since 05 is because of his dumb arse approach!! He fluked it in 05 but continues to push that wagon 7 seasons later!! Time for him to Wake The F@#k Up!!!

tonight wasn't the first time he's pulled that crap either. He's done it several times in the past. One game sticks in my head (vs Canberra 2008) when he had Flanagan and Moltzen on the bench, 10 minutes into the second half we have a solid lead when Harrison goes down injured. They ran home over the top of us and won it in the last 10 minutes. After that he should have never tried it again. Against the Chooks at LO last year he had Ryan and Utai on the bench.

I also remember Galloway pulling out injured of a game and being replaced by Shannon Gallant if memory serves me correctly.

I remember a game when Sheens started Danny Galea and Bronson Harrison in the front row, one of them went down injured and Parra just did as they wanted that game
