How will we go against Roosters?

Now even though they played Broncos roosters don't really pose a threat in the grand schemes of the competition in my opinion. We have better attack I think. Although we can struggle against the chooks j think we could possibly get a good win.

Roosters have beaten warriors and broncos back to back who both will probably end up in the bottom 4. We were woefull against Wests but Warriors and Dogs we looked very promising. I think we will be eager to get off to a good start.

Probably have Sio and Kelly back hopefully

What do you guys think?

It will be a good indicator of where we are as a team. Need to respond well after a very ordinary showing against the Tigers. Poor back to back performances won't bode well for the season.

It's possible to win with Roberts, Paulo and MK on at the same time, but not probable

I really can't see how you can come to this conclusion, personally I think we will win maybe 6 to 7 games all season at best and don't think this will be one of them, whilst we have the likes of smith, Keating, Roberts, Blair , Ryan , paulo, mannah, Morgan, even Fui nowadays to name a few we will struggle, but we know that already

I came to that conclusion because roosters won against a terrible broncos side by 8. If I were a roosters fan I wouldn't be excited

they had to defend most of the match. In the end they got the 2 points.

We were shit against a middle table tigers side at best.

Roosters by 8.

The eels will play with enthusiasm and generally defend OK, except for a couple of defensive blips on the edges. Sandow will look likely again but we will not take all of our opportunities with the ball in our hands and will lack patience in the opposition 20.

We will win - once we cut down on errors/penalties/ handing errors which is caused by the side being so full of enthusiasm because Stuart has pumped up the side before we start, we will be a pretty good side - well lets hope anyway.

The side is slowly learning how Stuart wants to play but some of our players aren't used to playing at such a high tempo thus mistakes happen - once they get used to the tempo watch out

Roosters look to have some momentum and belief up, something we're still struggling to build.

Hopefully we can again compete for the full 80mins, and not give up (like at times last season and the one before). If we keep trying for the full 80mins, you never know what might turn out our way.

But yeah, Roosters by 14... :sarcasm:

1. Mullaney
2. Vai
3. Tonga (LHS)
4. Morgan (RHS)
5. Sio
6. Hayne (we are crap on one side of the field. If Sandow doesn't do anything, we have nothing else. Plus if he is eventually going to move there then put him there now)
7. Sandow
8. Mannah
9. Kelly (MK if Kelly not fit)
10. Fui. (Last year he started off the bench and was crap. He needs to get in the mix at the open)
11. Loko (RHS)
12. Matua (LHS)
13. Hard one here : Paulo or Ryan

14. ROberts
15. Kelepi
16. Darcy
17. Allgood

Funny thing is we did not keep Maloney because of Mortz.

Now they are in the same team and Mortz is the second fiddle
