Melbourne officials have denied prop Rodney Howe will quit the Storm to join English Super League club Leeds.
Storm chief executive Chris Johns says Howe is committed to the NRL club and won't cut short his four-year deal, despite a clause in his contract allowing him to do so if Test coach Chris Anderson left Melbourne.
Meanwhile, Newcastle winger Darren Albert has refused to concede his career in the NRL is over after signing a two-year deal with English club St Helens.
The Sharks have signed three more players - including Junior Kangaroo centre Paul Franze from Newcastle.
Northern Eagles backrower Karl Lovell and prop Nick Paterson from North Queensland have also agreed to two-year deals with the Sharks.
