Hows the new stadium coming?

Hey I lived in Newcastle last year and was there to see the bad side of the stadium come down (I was also there when the NSL chucked a spack at united for not providing good enough replacement lights :lol: ). I was just wondering how far along the stadium is?

It was a couple of weeks ago now, but last time I drove past it was just a big mound of dirt.
I think they're using the same company that's looking after the Athens stadiums etc.
I just hope I'm not dangling from scaffolding come round 6.

Well Bob Carr handed over an extra 8 million, as stage 1 was over budget.

The rate it is going it will cost more than Suncorp Stadium.

Hey I offered to ask the Brisbane City Council if Newcastle could have ANZ stadium, but no-one replied to my kind offer.
