Well done to the Giants
Every player stood up and played extremely well, i thought Robbie Paul should've been man of the match but i'm not going to argue about Drew getting it.
The unsung heroes were guys like Jackson and Gannon who easily matched the Rhinos pack and i thought Snitch made a big impact from the bench.
Thorman did some good and some bad things but over all i was impressed.

I didn't find out that Hudds had won until about 10am and I couldn't believe it. I rushed home to watch it on tape and it was a good game but the tape ran out with about 15 minutes to go. Very annoying but it's replayed tonight at 10pm. Drew was very good and Paul wasn't far behind from what I saw. The Giants forwards were good. I thought Crabtree could play for GB earlier in the year but then he dropped in form again, but I still think one day he could reach that level. He was in the England Academy squad that included Burrow, McGuire, Briscoe, Wilkin etc. Leeds were ordinary and I don't think McGuire was the difference. They just didn't look keen and were outplayed in every area. Great result for Hudds and good to see a different team make a major final. The only downside is they'll probably have to be even better to compete with Saints in the final but you never know.

the final should be ok, altho i reckon St's will win by 20+ coz they'll be ready for them. Blokes like Crabtree can have a massive influence on the game if they play well

Great performance. I'm quite happy because Huddersfield have troubled St Helens (one close win, one close loss) a lot more than Leeds during the season, so it should make for a great contest in the Cup Final.

It's great that the team which represents the town where the voices for honesty and fairness in rugby broke away from union will be playing at Twickenham.

It certainly is interesting that Huddersfield will be playing at Twickenham. I'd love to see a big crowd there and plenty of banners and signs there saying things like "this is real rugby" or "Twickers is ours" just to stir them up and make a point too while we're at the "Home of Englisg rugby".

Only problem with Huddersfield reaching the final is the impact on the crowd.

They will only take around 5,000 themselves and its hardly a mouth watering clash for neutrals either.

I think a crowd of around 45-50,000 will be posted. In a stadium of around 65,000 that won't look great.

They've sold nearly that many before the semis, apparently.

10k Saints, and I'd imagine at least Hudd's average crowd from their support.

Congradulations to Huddersfield.I believe its the first time since 1962 that they have made the challendge cup final.Unbelievable game by Drew.Everytime he got the ball he looked dangerous.

Over 7000 tickets already sold by Hudds so I don't think there will be too much of a problem.
