Really enjoyed the game on channel nine today, firstly it was just great to see an English game under a bright blue sky which allowed a free flowing, end to end game.
Some fantastic tries were scored and the lead changed hands several times, you could not ask for much more in a game of footy.
I thought Peter Fox showed enough to earn himself a test jersey which will be named on wednesday.

Not the most skillful match I've ever seen but one of the most enthralling due to the Golden point finish. I'm not a fan of the GP for regular league matches but it certainly added a new dimension to the CC.

Yeah I've just watched the tape back and I thought it was a very entertaining game of footy.

But with that happened in the at the end of the Souths V Parra game last Friday Night where they went to pack a scrum only for Full Time to be blown before it could be packed. Something similar happened in this game. Only in the instance today I think it was the time keepers who stuffed up. They obviously didnt see that the ref had blown time off with 4 seconds to go.

I thought Jake Webster scored a really good try. The build up to it was great. great skill to break the line and good quick passing. Very impressive. A shame they couldnt win the match.

Is Lee Briers still eligable for Wales?

It wasn't a shame they couldn't win the match TEZZA ;-). There was a lot of whinging from the Dobbins fans about the pass from King to Clarke but the pass from Murrell in the build up to the Webster try was also dubious and the penalty for ball stealing that drew the Dobbins level was never a penalty. Newton dropped it cold. I think Briers has retired from international footy but don't quote me on that.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game. End to end stuff, with some great tries scored - especially the Webster one mentioned which Rovers scored.

I can see why Rovers fans thought the Matt King try was a forward pass, but it was backwards out of the hands and momentum took the ball forward, so that's legal. Another great try resulted.

How good was Warrington's goal kicking? Some third string kicker!

Good to see Warrington win and fingers crossed they make it to the Final.

Wigan Warrington semi should be good... shame St Helens keep getting the easier teams

Horrible game. I was a nervous wreck for the whole thing. i especially hate golden point. After missing a few drops i was waiting for HKR to win, but we finished so strong!

Brilliant win though, HKR are second in the league and really strong at home. Annoyingly though Wire let the oppo go into big league before dragging it back. Great effort, especially in defence, but in the semis it would be nice to just stuff the pie men.

The time keeper was clearly on the HKR payroll and someone needs to explain that a forward pass has to go forward as HKR fans seemed to think a forward pass was a Wire player passing to another one.

Websters try was good, but i thought the Clarke one was better, but i'm biased so i would say that!

Monas still doesn't do that much for us, but Matt King has turned into a rugby player!! Briers has retired from internationals now, but he was never really Welsh anyway.. :sarcasm:

We can stuff the Pie eaters in the semis then stains in the final...

The first try from HKR was fantastic as well, people used to rave about Wally Lewis' long passing game but that ball from Paul Cooke was sensational.
If Morley and Carvell can keep up their form then Wire can beat anyone, i also think Carvell is worth a spot on the bench for the French test match.
