I can't wait to see this game, many are calling it the game of the year and an unbelieveable 0-0 scoreline at half time.

The one thing that really pleased me was the scorers were all brilliant young British players Horne, Cooke, McGuire , Burrow and Richie Mathers who was man of the match.

Mathers is another fantastic player coming through.

You wont be disappointed jason. It was a cracker.

Mathers was superb throughout and deservedly won the MOM. McGuire whilst being a little restrained in the first half really let loose in the second. Senior was back to his attacking best, running through a great tackler like Swain on a number of occasions.
Horne had a good game for Hull, scored a cracker with a little drop of the shoulder. He reinforced my view that he and McGuire should be our starting halves against the Kiwis and the Aussies this autumn. And Burrow came on and showed just how good he is as a supporting player.

All in all a great game and brilliantly refereed by Steve Ganson. He's been involved in the two best games of the SL season so far, quality wise. The Leeds and Bradford game and last nights game. And on both occasions the penalty count was very low and the game was allowed to flow( IIRC the first stoppage in the Leeds/Bradford game was around the 30 minute mark!!!). Only 3 pens conceded in the 80 last night.

Enjoy the game mate. I'm gonna settle down now and watch a repeat of it.

I agree Ganson generally had a good game, but there surely has to come a point where you stop ignoring infringements in favour of letting the game flow - if coaches haven't twigged yet they'll be surely telling their players in upcoming Ganson matches to push his user-friendliness to the limit in terms of laying on, flopping, niggling and not PTB properly. That'll be when the problems with his approach might be exposed.

For now though, it has led to some fantastic games.
