ok hands up who has to join me in a large portion of my least favourite dessert ?

as far as i can remember i have supported the following initiatives

1. signing anderson
2. retaining anderson
3. dropping mcgoldrick
4. dropping simmons
5. personally instructing stuart raper on the finer points of nrl coaching

hmmm... think i better work on that list while i'm tucking into another helping

 (laughs at own stupidity)

Huh? What's wrong with Anderson? He's gone? Reefy will be happy. Somebody tell Reefy.

I was anti-McGoldrick when he came but he's come along in leaps and bounds. He's starting to make himself a good player, has improved on everything that was lacking in his game pretty much :D .

yep count me in
except with 5 i didnt want "that neville" stuart raper signed at all
now i love the bloke
i also didnt want kimmorley signed ahead of preston - while i think there would be room for preston in the current team, the idea that he is a more suitable option at halfback is a ridiculous proposition

Sure, serve me up a nice big slice. I got into McGoldrick. He deserved it at the time. He was missing tackles and doing nothing in attack. Now he is in top form and I wouldn't want anyone else.

No, I'm sweet.
Don't hire Anderson
Sack Anderson ASAP
Drop Mcgoldrick in exactly the way & for the reasons, Rapes did.
Don't drop Simmo but swap his side.

But, at the request of someone yesterday, I went trolling through some old threads. A great read.
Here are some great quotes
"Raper has no idea"
"Dump Simmons and McGoldrick Replace them with Saleh and Kent"
"You dont rate Vagana higher than these 2 clowns "
"Teams going well . I wouldnt change to, much cept keep rotating the wingers and start looking for a full back"
"He's only improving because he couldn't get worse." (on Mcgoldrick)
"He has been killing it in Flegg and I would've been punting him in the centres of First Grade than wasting my time with McGoldrick"(on Ross)
"Because Raper is devoid of ideas, he thinks Bailey is the ants pants, he's nothing."

Theres a whole bunch more I'll bring out later.
Ayone remember these?

You know Reefy, a quote isn't really a quote unless you quote someone. Who were they? Or will they remain anonymous? I don't think I said any of that.

Yeah I said that Ross should be in the team instead of McGoldrick!

Guess what Steven Ross will be a better player than McGoldrick will ever be.

McGoldrick has gone ok in his last couple of games but nothing out of the ordanairy PLEASE!!!!!!!!

BTR your making him out to be a sensation this year......he's still trying to hold on to his spot on a week to week basis.

He still lacks genuine speed and size and has tackling deficiencies.

So don't go on about him like he is going to be the next E.T!!!!!

I'll put my hand up for a munch of that pie (bugger, now I'm thinking about Chanelle again...)

I was heavily on the 'three years is three years' side of things, and was worried about Raper's credentials. It seems he has the goods after all.

I have always thought Noddy is a better halfback than Preston though, but it's a shame the little bloke isn't around to wear the number 6...

Actuall that was 1 of about 3 of yours.
The ironic thing is, that when we do this again in a few months, I will quote you again, from this thread!!!
You sometimes make it so easy for me.

p.s.
& no Mcsharkie, none were yours. Yours were all shiny & pretty.

And by the way Peachey is falling apart at the seams as I predicted he would at his tender age for an outside back.

Expect him to be even slower on his comeback.

If the Sharks resign him for another two years it will be a dead set joke!

Now save those one's too Back Flip!

By the way when are we moving to the Gold Coast?
:^o
When are we signing this wing international? :^o

need I go on?

Please keep going on.
Falling apart at the seams? Peach even slower? A comeback?

Keep em comin.

FTR I never said the gold coast was happening, as much as you like to perpetuate that lie.

The wing International was an outright lie.

But at least I am not wrong, in my every comment about rugby league, & it's players, like you are.
You should start a weekly tipping thread with your predictions so people can back exactly the opposite of what you think.
f**k we'd have some rich forummers.

I am sick of people bagging Peach. He had a couple of games where he was a bit flat but he has been outstanding in the majority of games. How good was he against Brissy. Apart from his early try assist to Craig Frawley ofcourse, but what about that play for our second try, that was pretty, the way he put Simmons away down the line.

One of my brothers mates plays Pl and flegg (Ciraldo) and he reckons that McGoldrick is one of the fastest at the club over ten metres, after that he drops off to rieck and merrit.

That try he scored against brissy was awesome, and hes really starting to develop a combo was Simmons. I really like the way he runs with the ball low..... Keeps the defenders guessing, especially when hes got some space. He also looks like a character from Puberty Blues. And that, my friends, is rad.

Apparently hes also a mad sledger.
