Wellington and Perth have both just qualified for their first ever finals series, and I think there'll be big crowds on hand to see the two sides off and celebrate.

You're probably right about Newcastle. Novocastrians are pathetically fickle, even though the Jets are into the finals and every chance of putting a few goals on the hapless Reds.

Jets won't crack 6k IMO. After a derby loss to the Mariners among a string of three losses - I can't see many turning up.

Equal worst defence in the league.

Seriously, run a broom through the club. Of the guys still contracted, I'd keep: Ljubo, Song, Elrich, Wheelhouse, and Bridges.

Everybody else (sans Thompson, who's already gone) could be replaced by a better player from abroad or from the state leagues. Guys like Kennedy, Ontong, Petrovski, Rooney etc are just not up to scratch.

Having ljubo and NTS in the backs with tarek etc shouldn't concede that many goals. The red 2nd goal tonite was embaressing, as was a free header late in the game. We simply don't have the depth and really con doesn't give a sh*t. Players won't come here and in my oipinion our coach hasn't a clue
