Good to see the FFA use their smarts and avoid NRL grand final day.

Should be a good game on Sunday.

Hopefully from next weekend we see a reasonable increase in crowds with the AFL & NRL seasons complete.

Sydney are going to have a tough time breaking Central Coast's defence.

------------Bolton
---Ryall---Keller---Colosimo---Byun
-------Musialik-----McFlynn
------------Corica
Bridge-------Aloisi------Brosque

With the youngins in Egypt and the injuries, this would be our best attacking lineup.

So is it too hard to go out and support your team because they're playing a certain opposition ? I'm sorry but they're attendances you'd expect from the NZ Knights and the Gold Coast are coming top ffs.

good on the ref for wearing mariners colours today [literally wearing mariners colours..nice stuff up]

i think brosque has spent alittle to much time with aloisi..is it to hard to ask for him to put it in the back of the net?

sydney were not selfish enough, instead of taking a shot on goal they looked to pass and by the time they got another chance, they would lose the ball

good game, crap crowd, love the rain

14K was a decent crowd?

Two good games this arvo, especially the Adelaide/ Newcastle one. That was a quality match

Given the weather lately, the crowd was quite good. Same fixture last year got 18k in good weather. Mariners contingent was bigger this year though, Cove seemed marginally smaller.

As for the game, Sydney seemed more willing to go forward in attack. We reverted to our 08-09 game plan of "pass backwards" basically and it failed us big time. McGlinchey seemed to be the only one on the park having a real dig... our front three today were gutless... McAllister, Mrdja and Kwassie all seemed incapable of committing to taking a shot. :(

TBH, Sydney should have been up by 2 or 3 goals by midway through the second half.

CCM really missed not having Matt Simon as a target man.

Newcastle vs Adelaide was great..

I don't even follow the Jets a whole lot (fair-weather for sure ) but was getting into it at the end there.

Nail on the head, Simon's a bit more "alive" like McGlinchey was, he has some direction. McAllister should drop back to the midfield, he's not hungry enough in the goalmouth.

Fkn sick of the Jets conceding penalties and dominating matches, but not getting maximum points ...

I'm also sick of all the ball they turnover so easy. Ffs talk about making it hard on yourself. 2nd hald vs adel we were camped in our half for most of it due to cheap turnovers
