Newcastle relying on Fury to win over Phoenix in Wellington, and then beating us.

Adelaide and Gold Coast both vying for 3rd as well.

Shame the nature of the A-League prevents games kicking off simultaneously (well, Heart-Sydney wouldn't need to). Bleiberg has said the Gold Coast will rest players if they already know they're gonna finish fourth, which might turn the game into a bit of a farce. It would be a shame 'cause it's an important match for us, not only to celebrate our inaugural title, but also as it marks a triumphant home-coming after the adversity which the city has been through over the last month. Would be nice to be able to play a game with real emotion going into the finals. Oh well, whatever happens, let's hope the Gold Coast don't park the bus like they did the last time they visited here, and there's no rain to help them score a few cheap goals.

A little unfair also for Newcastle. Going to already know their fate, so it's gonna be hard to lift themselves for their derby game.
